This blog is to supplement the project we will be working on with an area public library. My background is in education. I am a high school media specialist. I have also worked at the elementary and middle school levels. Technology is obviously an important issue in education and librarianship, which is why I am taking this class.

Hi, I was a high school newspaper and yearbook adviser for five years. In my last year, technology, especially in yearbook, was moving to the web or web integration. I am curious what software and technology is being used now. For example, I was told a 2MP camera was more than I would ever need if I went to digital:)
Woe to the person who believes that any form of technology is the last they will ever need! I am not in charge of the yearbook, so I cannot tell you what software is being used now, however I am seeing yearbooks with a lot more color and better action shots and ones that take submissions from all of the student body.
